Samuel P. Schlewitz

Sam was born and lives with his fantastic wife Kim and children in Altoona, WI. After graduating from Altoona High School, he attended East Tennessee State University and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in teaching. Mr. Schlewitz then earned his law degree from the University of Memphis. He returned to his hometown in April of 2008 and joined Ron Poquette and Sarah Donnellan, a family-oriented general practice law firm that genuinely cares about its clients. They are all from the area and have earned the reputation of “Your Local Legal Team!”

Sam has been an active member of the Lions Club, United Cerebral Palsy, the Eau Claire County Bar Association, the State Bar of WI, and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives, and he loves coaching youth basketball. He is a former member of the Altoona Housing Authority and served as the city attorney for Mondovi, WI, from 2014-2018. Sam currently serves as president of the Nick Schlewitz Memorial Foundation. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves animals.

Mr. Schlewitz currently handles cases in multiple areas of law, including Social Security Disability, Workers Compensation, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, and Probate. Sam is proud that “the Eau Claire/Chippewa Valley area has always been home to me and always will be.” Mr. Schlewitz truly loves serving the local community and genuinely cares about people, which allows him to build strong relationships with his clients.

Sam loves hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. Mr. Schlewitz looks forward to building relationships and serving the local community. Serving others in every way that he can is genuinely his goal.
