Danette grew up just south of Eau Claire and has always felt most at home in the country. Today, she lives with her family on a small hobby farm south of Strum, where life is rarely quiet and there is always something or someone to take care of. Their horses, mules, donkeys, and three dogs are a big part of everyday life, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Danette is the proud mom of two sons who love the outdoors as much as she does. Hunting, fishing, dirt biking, and four-wheeling are favorite activities in her family, and they enjoy the simple things that come with country living. She appreciates hard work, time spent outdoors, being around animals, and having family close by.
Professionally, Danette has worked as a paralegal and office manager for 20 years. She especially enjoys estate planning and probate, but what she values most about her work is the people she meets along the way. She is naturally someone who likes to help, solve problems, answer questions, and make things a little easier for others. Over the years, many clients have become familiar faces, and the relationships she has built are one of the most rewarding parts of her career – a few of our clients even call her by her life-long nickname, Donut.
Whether she’s helping someone at work, spending time with her family, or taking care of animals at home, she is happiest when she’s busy, useful, and surrounded by good people. She values kindness, honesty, a good sense of humor, and treating people the way she would want her own family to be treated.
